Position Overview
Our client is currently seeking a Financial or Retail Services Sales Director to lead our efforts within the category. Our client already works with American Express, Macy’s, Discover and is regularly interacting with leading Financial and Retail companies. The successful Financial or Retail Services Sales Director not only brings existing relationships, but also will have the unique ability to navigate a complex organization and develop consultative relationships. The Financial or Retail Services Director develops a strong plan and has the savvy to utilize the right internal resources at the appropriate stage in the sales process. The role requires outstanding leadership skills and a consultative sales approach.
Responsibilities:
•Sell all our client solutions to Financial or Retail Services accounts, including MMBU, Loyalty, Advertising and Large Scale Campaigns
•Develop long term consultative relationships with key strategic partners.
•Make Our client their first call when discussing mobile.
•Establish new relationships at market maker accounts.
•Teaming with BU resources for Pre-Sales support and throughout delivery.
•Ensure satisfied client and identify additional opportunities
Required Experience & Qualifications:
• Experience selling direct to Financial Services OR retail companies (not through agencies) with focus on Marketing/Social Media/Mobile Director, VP, CMO, CTO, and CIOs
•Actively working with clients with at least 3 current client references (different companies)
•Experience with complex SaaS based sale
•Passion for technology
•Roll up sleeves team player
•Demonstrated ability to lead internal teams to
•Mobile sales experience is a plus
•Self-starter
•Dealing with Ambiguity
•Selling strategic complex technology solutions to C suite
•Experience with SFDC or other sales tool
• College Degree. MBA Preferred
Compensation:
Salary negotiations begin at $150,000
Total cash target $300,000-$350,000 range
