Eastman Kodak Company is looking for an entry/junior-level Electro-Mechanical Process Engineer to join our Brand Film and Imaging team in Rochester, NY.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for providing engineering project and day-to-day support within the sensitized components manufacturing and film coating operations.  This position is in Eastman Business Park in the Brand, Film, and Imaging Division.
This position provides production support for the manufacture of light sensitive photographic film made on a continuous roll-to-roll process and polyester roll manufacturing.  You would:
  • Design and implement reliability driven process and equipment changes
  • Implement capital improvements to expand capability or address obsolescence issues
  • Troubleshoot quality-related issues
  • Learn from experts in conveyance and controls systems.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Systems Engineering
  • 0-5 years relevant Engineering experience
  • Strong interest in hands-on experience with multi-generational equipment
  • This is not a desk job, and will require occasional physically demanding work situations (ie. climbing, fitting into tight work spaces, etc)

  • Design knowledge and/or education related to process instrumentation controls, programmable logic, distributed control systems, and coordinated drive systems.
  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and direct projects and tasks and ability to drive multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot issues and assist in root-cause analysis techniques.
