Vice President - NY, NY. Analyze & monitor existing investments & evaluate new ideas. Involved in & significant responsibilities in all phases of the investment process, incl new idea sourcing, underwriting, fundamental research, due diligence calls & portfolio mgmt. Conduct bottoms-up research incl reviewing earnings releases & reading investor presentations to analyze industry data to describe current & long-term trends. Construct & maintain accurate, detailed co. fin'l earnings models. Maintain d/bases & records of portfolio holdings & statistics. Compile research materials & write research notes for investment mgr reviews & visits. Bachelor's Deg in Finance or Economics (or foreign equiv) & 5 yrs of rltd investment analysis exp, incl experience w/ due diligence, risk analysis, & underwriting. Salary ranges from $180k - $230k.
