Job Description

Vice President for middle-market private equity firm in NY, NY specializing in management buyouts, recapitalizations & growth equity opportunities. Position duties are coordinating investments underwriting, execution and financing for strategic acquisitions & capital projects; sourcing new investment opportunities; and monitoring investments operating and financial performance including analyzing & interpreting accounting statements; conducting financial due diligence to determine the accuracy of a company's accounting reports & operating performance; developing financial models and performing financial forecasting & valuation analyses; leading due diligence & investment underwriting processes; preparing internal and external presentations, investment briefs & formal investment committee memos; modeling investment returns, private equity fund returns, & fees; drafting bid letters and term sheets for potential investments; monitoring and ensuring compliance with credit agreement covenants; administrating equity incentive plans; and managing & training Associates. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and 2 years' experience in the job duties as stated or alternatively a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and 2 years' experience as an Associate for a private equity firm responsible for conducting financial due diligence, financial forecasting, valuation analyses, modelling of investments returns, and analyzing and interpreting accounting statements for new investments and strategic acquisitions. Position is located in NY, NY with 20% travel. Position may require the individual to work at unanticipated company locations throughout the U.S. Salary for position is $150,000 to $200,000.
