Software Development Manager (Software Developer)

Software Development Manager (Software Developer) for leading manufacturer of laser produced specialty tooling for die-cutting applications. Position duties are object-oriented modeling, design, development & integration of real time embedded software for CNC machine control systems for steel rule die and converting tool manufacturing and associated machine tool operations using C++, Python, JavaScript stack and server-side with REST API in Linux and Windows environments including performing requirements analysis; formulating detailed functional and product specifications; creating and administering SQL server and SQL scripting; performing requirements functional decomposition, unit & integration testing; implementing software architecture; and providing technical documentation and system implementation support using agile methodology. Position requires 2 years' experience in the job duties as stated. Position is located in Amherst, NY with 15% travel to company/client locations throughout the U.S. Position may require the individual to work at various unanticipated company locations throughout the U.S. Salary range is $100,000 to $115,000.
