Annual salary range: $172,000 - $258,000
Responsibilities:
· Act as the lead designer for the Reporting and Budget teams.
· Contribute to user experience engineering for key parts of Ramp’s core product, from prioritization to launch.
· Develop efficient and user-friendly interfaces following the latest software engineering best practices.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to guide design and engineering decisions.
· Work closely with Principal Designers, Product, and Engineering leads to translate company strategy into prioritized initiatives and identify key problems to solve.
· Engage directly with Ramp’s customers to gain insights, explore solutions, create prototypes, and analyze user feedback/data to identify friction points and improvement opportunities for each initiative.
· Advocate for users by continuously enhancing Ramp’s core products and experiences.
· Collaborate with the team to evolve Ramp’s long-term user experience vision, systems, guidelines, and internal collaboration processes.
· Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience as a digital interface designer, digital product designer, design engineer, or in a related role/occupation. In addition, the required prior experience must include:
· 1 year of experience designing digital products.
· 1 year of experience in user experience and user interface design.
· 1 year of experience working with developers and product managers to build and ship applications or software.
· 1 year of experience in visual and interaction design, branding & identity, and typography.
· 1 year of experience with low and high-fidelity prototyping.
