Plant Manager

Plant Manager (Hicksville, NY) Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless functioning of the dairy production plant.  Direct and coordinate daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and executing production requirements. Provide  administrative oversight and implement the Movex workplace system for data capturing, reporting, record-keeping, and evaluation. Streamline processes and foster a culture of efficiency within the team through the implementation of  initiatives. Spearhead initiatives to improve product quality, increase productivity, and reduce waste. Expertly track utility  consumption data, generate insightful reports, and implement corrective actions to optimize resource utilization. Play a  pivotal role in the overall development, accuracy, and routine maintenance of the plant and infrastructure. Implement  strategic changes in managing plant equipment to improve overall plant performance. Req. BS or equivalent in Food  Processing, Food Science Technology, Fisheries and Aquaculture, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in similar  duties involving dairy plant with emphasis on product quality, increasing productivity, supervising production functions, and administrative oversight, including knowledge of the Movex workplace system. May be assigned to work at HQ office in  Hicksville, NY, and other office locations in Farmingdale, NY and Brentwood, NY. Telecommuting allowed if within  commuting distance from office locations.
