Job title: Business Systems Engineering Manager
Job location: Fully remote (can be based anywhere in the U.S.)
Annual salary range: $182,750 - $285,000
Responsibilities:
· Develop custom solutions within Salesforce (Apex/Visualforce/Lightning Framework) and other object-oriented (Java) enterprise applications.
· Turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
· Anticipate customers’ needs and position product solutions accordingly.
· Verify and regress-test new and existing functionality before release.
· Work with senior members of the team to identify system needs, gather requirements, and assist with prioritization and delivery.
· Draft runbook and cookbook documentation to assist operations teams with maintaining and triaging newly-developed applications and integrations.
· Produce testing frameworks and metrics to further the reliability of Ramp’s go-to-market enterprise technologies.
· Mentor other engineers across various teams within the engineering department.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a software engineering or systems engineering occupation. The required prior experience must include:
· 5 years of experience with object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as or similar to Java, Ruby, Python, or Javascript.
· 5 years of experience with Salesforce administration and development.
· 5 years of experience with implementing business SaaS solutions and using APIs.
· 5 years of experience with database models and querying languages such as or similar to SQL or HQL.
· 5 years of experience with web development languages such as or similar to CSS, HTML, jQuery, or JSP.
· 5 years of experience with integration and ETL technologies such as or similar to Mulesoft or Informatica.
· 5 years of experience working in an agile environment.
· 4 years of experience managing technical staff.
· 1 year of experience with a CDP platform.
· 1 year of experience with marketing automation technologies such as or similar to Hubspot or Marketo.
