Position: Business Associate (Multiple Openings)

Job location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

·      Developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy for Nuvocargo’s new financial services products, including iterating, improving, and growing such products.

·      Mapping and improving current and new business processes: analyzing, identifying, and documenting areas of improvement in the operation to reduce inefficiencies; collecting inputs and gathering feedback from internal stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in the current operation; testing solutions and tools to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operating leverage for internal stakeholders; and reporting metrics and results to measure improvement across different initiatives.

·      Implementing new processes across the organization: developing materials to train teams on new processes; coordinating internal teams to train managers on new processes and tools; and leading cross-functional project management to ensure managers effectively deploy training programs and the adoption of new processes.

·      Working with technical teams to identify opportunities for automation and prioritize the development of new products: synthesizing root problems for core operational problems and issues; and working with Product Managers to prioritize product tools and features based on the impact on the company’s operation.

Job Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in operations research, engineering management, computer science, or a closely related quantitative field, plus 3 years of experience in a quantitative research occupation such as data science, business intelligence, or financial analysis. Prior experience must also include:

·      3 years of experience with researching and drawing key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.

·      3 years of experience with SQL.

·      1 year of experience in the financial services industry.

Travel requirement: International travel required up to 10% of time

Base annual salary range: $146,016 - $219,024
