 Permanent position, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.

Job description:  

" Design layout of art exhibits, displays, and promotional materials

" Work with Global Exhibitions and Art Resources to maintain consistent gallery look for all assigned art fairs and exhibitions 

" Liaise with Global Exhibitions, Marketing and Design on art fairs and exhibition signage 

" Manage special projects as assigned, including all planning, liaising with clients, contractors, artist's studios, etc. to bring projects to fruition 

" Strategize and identify opportunities for consolidation and overall cost savings for all assigned projects and ensure implementation 

" Facilitate and prepare gallery space for all exhibitions and viewings including all prepping, painting, patching, lighting and installing/de-installing 

" Collaborate with PGT and NY Art Resources team to book third party shippers and installation crews for gallery as needed; direct third-party preparators on site 

" Responsible for all general gallery facilities needs 

" Receive artwork and maintain updated inventory records/movements, including uploading BOL's to inventory system 

" Liaise with insurance limits

" Condition check artworks upon request and update Sharepoint/Palette with relevant information.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Art or Photography or related or foreign equivalent plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or Art Installer or Preparator or in related capacity working at Art Fairs, Galleries, auction houses, and/ museums . Will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience.
