Accountant (Brooklyn, NY) F/T - Responsible for preparation & examination of fin'l records to ensure their accuracy, as well as to ensure compliance w/ the reqd city, state & federal tax laws & fin'l reporting. Calculate tax obligations (taxes owed), prep tax returns filings (incl quarterly & annual reporting), & ensure their on-time payment. Prep profit & loss statements & monthly closing & cost acctg reports. Ensure accurate recording & analysis of revenues & expenses. Advise on tax ramifications of business decisions, as well as consult in the areas such & participate in strategic planning & budget dvlpmt. Salary $67k/yr.
