Clinical Lecturer of Chemistry
at Iona College
The Department of Chemistry at Iona College invites applications for a full-time (non-tenure track) Clinical Lecturer position in Chemistry. In addition to promising scholarship, the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate courses. The successful candidate will have a commitment to establishing a productive line of scholarly research. Responsibilities will include teaching courses that match the successful candidate's interests and skills, and departmental needs; maintaining an active line of research; providing research training for students and providing departmental and college service.
- Required qualifications: a Ph.D. in chemistry or related area; relevant postdoctoral, academic or industrial experience; a commitment to establishing a productive, externally funded research program; and a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the college level
